However, let's say there is a group of people who create the organization of "Moo" and "Moo" states in it's by-laws you must wear a pink and black robe and walk backwards, and you agree to follow the by-laws of "Moo", now there is a individual that refuse to follow the by-laws set by "Moo", refusing to following By-Laws means you have three option, stay, leave, or get put out.

At one time Moo Catholic Church did not allow a heliocentric view of the Solar System. The options were not only stay, leave, or get put out. The fourth option was for the institution to broaden its view. The Methodist Church needs to develop ceremonies of togetherness for same sex couples--not using the word marriage for same sex couples. It is not an equality issue.
