Stunned. What an amazing display of kindness.

"The picture below, taken by @MattLyonSLC, shows boy scouts in Salt Lake City (in rainbow kerchiefs no less) delivering pizza to county workers who are skipping their lunch break to keep serving the hundreds upon hundreds of gay couples lining up around the block for marriage licenses. Utah. Boy scouts. Delivering pizzas. To support. Gay marriage. The. End."

This will be ignored and/or forgotten by next week, and many of the gays will once again continue on their crusade to destroy this organization.

Does anyone even know what the story is yet? Why hasn't the troop as yet been identified, for instance? Why only one balding guy (troop leader?) and one kid? Since when does that make up a troop?

    captur37.jpg

I don't know if this is true or not but I just found this online...

This picture appears to be of a former scout leader who was accused of violating Boy Scout policy at another event, too. IOW, this is one guy making a statement by wearing the uniform. (Maybe the boy scout with him is his son.) See article here:

    The Salt Lake Tribune

    Referring to this article:

    http://www.sltrib.com/sltrib/news/56461131-78/parade-utah-pride-bsa.html.csp

    which states:

Boy Scout leaders chastised for marching in Utah Pride Parade

"It has always been BSA's policy that no person, youth or adult may use Scouting to promote sexual orientation or any other political or social agenda," the letter said. "You and others are welcome to participate in the parade as supportive citizens but not as uniformed members of the BSA."

    Meanwhile....

Selfie77 coincidentally tried bashing Metta8 here http://www.realjock.com/gayforums/3596585 by saying... Would you consider doing some additional research to try and provide a more balanced picture?

A rogue scout? I'll take it. Change begins with one. Maybe by his example others will break rank and follow.

Did I not tell you the stories of how we used to trek five miles through the snow to type three words and hit enter on the library computer?

I'm good with breaking rank when required (though this joker might not even be a member). My problem with this is everyone believing bullshit. Particularly when sock then uses bullshit with bad intent to attack a well-intentioned poster, not only basing the attack upon nothing but also highlighting his own hypocrisy.

Here's my five mile snow research googling Utah scout pizza.

    http://bit.ly/1ifPVK4

Here's all the website "news" sources where you guys get your "information"

    http://jezebel.com/utah-boy-scouts-give-pizza-to-gay-couples-waiting-on-ma-1488929247

    http://www.towleroad.com/2013/12/boy-scouts-deliver-pizza-to-utah-county-clerks-and-gay-couples-waiting-in-line-for-marriage-licenses.html

    http://joemygod.blogspot.com/2013/12/utah-boy-scouts-brought-pizza-to.html

    http://www.queerty.com/photos-boy-scouts-cater-gay-marriages-at-utah-county-courthouse-with-pizza-20131224/

    etc
    etc
    etc.

Okay, now let's walk another five miles through the snow and click on news on the very same google search.

Here's a list of the legitimate news organizations carrying this so-called story:

    http://www.washingtonpost.com/express/wp/2013/12/15/ranking-all-35-college-football-bowl-games/

Ranking all 35 college football bowl games

    Washington Post-Dec 15, 2013

Bowling Green — Pizza for $5? ... Utah St. vs. No. ... points a game, faces UCLA sophomore quarterback Brett Hundley, whom NFL scouts love.

Do you seriously think a legitimate news organization would refuse to print a ground breaking story if it was real?

Of course the Lib media refuses to report stories which don't serve their Left-wing agenda. There are countless examples.

The Lib media happily covered up the sex and drug stories during the Kennedy presidency.

The Lib media had to be forced to cover the John Edwards scandals.

The Lib media are happily covering up Obama's fake birth certificate, fake draft registration, recycled social security number, and sealed personal documents.

There hasn't been one Obama scandal -- e.g., Fast and Furious, IRS, NSA, Benghazi -- fully and aggressively investigated by the Lib media in the way they would pursue the stories if a Republican were in the White House.

Any you're right about Lib hate and anger poisoning RJ. Another day, more Lib turds in the swimming pool.

Where's the Fox News story on this?

Oh, that's right, because even as of today--two days past the event--it still isn't a story. You really show yourself to be quite the lowlife when even your own people wouldn't stoop to touch this shit.

This has been picked up by nobody but idiots like you and gays hoping against hope for some acceptance in the world.

Oh look, what a surprise. Not a change of BSA policy after all. I'm shocked and astonished.

    http://www.cnn.com/2013/12/25/us/utah-boy-scout-pizza-for-gays/

As leader of Boy Scout Troop 351, he's long advocated for the Scouts to accept all boys and men into the organization. He was reprimanded last June for participating in full uniform in the Utah pride parade in Salt Lake City.

"We are very disappointed that you used Scouting to advance the gay agenda," wrote Bry Davis, council president, and Rick Barnes, Scout executive.

The United Jewish Federation of Utah, the sponsor of Troop 351, suspended all its activities.

(CNN? Isn't that where that liberal, gay anchor works?)

I already stated that I'm okay with breaking rank appropriately.

This guy didn't think through his actions in two respects.

For one, it was a tad deceitful. Now I realize that was a part of the initial breaking rank; but, to maintain integrity, he then should have been honest about it. He was not.

Where he was not honest was detrimental to our cause because he let the rumors fly, without clarification, creating false hope in the gay community that BSA policy had swayed when it did not. Thus this thread.

False hope is not constructive, rather, it deteriorates morality. Had he done this and immediately owned it, that would have cast a very different light. Instead what he has accomplished in the eyes of our enemy is to add deception to the supposed gay agenda.

That's not who we are. He did not well represent us.

    Planning without action is futile
    Action without planning is fatal

Besides that it probably would have been more efficient for him to try and effect change from within, to rise in the ranks of the BSA--about which he now hasn't a chance in hell--to become a policy maker there, we already have the upper hand in this. Witness their loss of public and corporate support. We're right. They are wrong. We'll win this honestly.

Not one of the gay or gay-friendly websites "reporting" on this incident questioned it.

We don't have to stoop to dashing our own hopes and making fools of ourselves just to make a point that's already known.

Your claim that the Lib media do not suppress stories which don't fit their Left-wing agenda, is as goofy as ever.

This Utah story is making the rounds now that the whole truth is known.

This creep Peter Brownstein is using the Boy Scouts, to advance his own Lib agenda. He is deliberately violating Boy Scouts of America (BSA) policy because, as a typical Lib, he's too important to follow the rules.

He was recently reprimanded for marching, in uniform, without BSA approval, in a Gay Pride parade. His response was to defy BSA policy again, and show up with his son, in uniform, using their BSA uniforms in an unauthorized way again, at a gay marriage event.

This is how lawless Lib creeps, from the White House down, operate. They are too self-important to follow rules or laws.

It's not surprising that you would support this rule-breaking creep.

Like him, you are also too important to follow rules, especially the rule against personally attacking another RJ member.

Libs can't just debate ideas. They have an angry, hateful compulsion to hurl turds.

They are the turds in the swimming pool of public discourse.

You know the same could be said for us Bonafide homosexuals. I have stood up on my own, and endured the abuse, and hecklers. But we have started to grow; I have received that spark. yet we have to endure people not wanting to keep the elision that we don't exist; albeit we take nothing away from them. Just as same sex marriage takes nothing away from religion.
