Okay, Honestly I get kinda happy anytime I notice my picture with the "verified and online photos" on the main page, and I get really happy if a thread I began is picked as Forum Thread of the Week.

Am I the only one here who's ego is that fragile?

Er No. It's quite normal for someone to be pleased if something they do is commended.

Doesn't mean you have to go and start another thread about it (are you a serial thread starter?).

    ;)

    No worries.

It's good to get new threads and not have to put up with the same old ones.

Honestly, I'm fairly new around here...so I can understand how the verified and online is random, but the forum thread of the week might also be random...I wasn't sure... so it's nice to know it's not.

Don't you read your generic email from the RJ community weekly?
It lists all sorts of this week kinda info, to include Forum Post of the Week.

I have Extreme Ways(i think that's what it's called) by Moby stuck in my head.

No, but my ego dynamic shows up a bit differently. E.g., on the nipple thread, I laughed my butt off as I was taking and uploading my verified nipple pic. I knew damn well that it was funny. But, when people then praised me for it, my inner critic jumps in to tell me that I'm not worthy of praise. So, I'm kinda the opposite of you in that acknowledgment makes me uncomfortable instead of happy.

Now - if you printed out the page and posted it on the fridge with a magnetic banana I'd get worried....

Zit down on zee couch my vriend.

Zo, are you veeling unappreciated at home or at verk dat you are zeeking validation on-line?

    ------
Seeing that I'm "online and verified" isn't half as interesting as seeing some of the hot studs that pop-up. I think I'd just be embarrased if I was featured RealJock of the day.

I really like to get email though - IM hasn't been the best experience for me, so I keep that off.

I think you should now laud it over all of us and strut around with a sense of self-importance. I know I would. In fact, right now I'm just e-seething with e-jealousy because I can't.

    Curses!
