Very very nice and wonderful sounding. Liked it in every way better than my G8. Too bad the one they have in is black or there'd be something new sitting in garage tonight.

at min 19:30. I don't think much of CR's opinion when it comes to cars and given their political bent I would expect them to be negative of neutral when it comes to cars like this.

It's not cheap at around $46k and certainly not very fuel efficient, but sure is refined, and most importantly, fun.

I like the Charger SRT8, but it's getting kinda dated. Needs a design refresh badly.

It just got one in I think 2012. Anyway I provided a link to a c&d comparison between this and the SRT8 charger.

Ugh, I want a new car. But I enjoy not having car payments. icon_biggrin.gif

Also, I've been seeing more C7 Vettes on the road lately. Saw a white one being unloaded from the truck when I drove by a Chevy dealer. Looked purrrty.

My will power would have failed today had this car not been a metallic black.

This magazine used to be so Japanese biased. Not so much anymore.

Start saving. I saved up for my current and previous cars. It can be done. Every month put aside at least as much as you would for a monthly payment. Your bank should allow you to have a second savings account.

I typically save enough for 60% down. And finance the rest. My last two cars were also 2 year old used cars, so they were practically new.

Anyways, it's just wishful thinking right now. I don't "need" a new car at the moment. icon_smile.gif

I generally lease because I'm always chasing the latest greatest at a given price point. I do use a car in business so it makes the tax right off easier. Sometimes I end up buying the car at the end of the lease if resale value is way above the lease residual like it's been with my Corvettes and was with my G8. It was over $10,000 in this case and I wasn't about to hand that back to them.

We're getting down to the last days of the V8 so I want to make sure I get something this time that I'll want to keep for a very long time.

My current car is 6 years old and still running strong. I'll probably keep it for another 6 years. Think I'll spend some cash to make it go faster. But nothing too crazy. It's my daily ride, so it needs to stay reliable.
