Yeah, the headers and titles chosen by Queerty and other linked sites ("allegedly outed by rumored boyfriend," insofar as the act of "outing" someone can be the subject of an unsubstantiated allegation) seem to be wrong, and perhaps intentionally misleading, when you read the details.
The other kid hasn't "outed" anybody with his social media commentary, and as far as anyone can tell, he's not "out" himself.
Instead, some social media "spy" (oh, say, a Bears fan, perhaps? lol) is playing connect-the-dots with their Tweets and posts and magazine comments, and is now expecting the rest of the Internet to play along, while he/she has the joy of remaining "anonymous" him/herself.
If there's a shred of truth to the story, this other gentlemen (the suspected boyfriend) was perhaps hoping they could both come out dually this summer, along with a couple other NFL players, but one/both/all of the players got cold feet, and he got miffed. IF that's indeed the issue, there's no reason the young man can't come out individually for his own sake. There's no point in waiting for Aaron to come out alongside him, or in seeking his permission to do so personally.
Anyway, now that the Pack is in the playoffs, I hope this fluff remains backburner until at least after the season is over. Aa-Rod doesn't need a Piazza Moment in the middle of a Super Bowl run.
