As much as I dislike Serena I'm gonna pick her to win the women's draw. I think Vika will lose in semis.

I'm also really rooting for Fed. I think he has at least one or two more majors in him.

Would love Federer to win one last slam before retiring a la Andre Agassi, but I dont think its possible under the australian heat. Djoko had the best end of season last year so I vote for him. Unless she gets injured, im thinking Serena will win again

I just finish to reqd Rafa written by John Carlin.

I previously read Open about Andre Agassi's life.

I think Rafa will win no doubt.

It can bbe nice if Serena win another slam but Azarenka is a safer bet.

I think that Nadal v. Djokovic will be the final, and I'd put my money on Djokovic in that. He's had Rafa's number since the US Open, and he's seemed pretty unstoppable lately.

If Serena doesn't crash out before the semifinals, she'll win. If she does, either Sharapova or Azarenka will take the title (whoever wins their semi).

I will have to go with Serena and Novak. Although I am a big Nadal fan and would like to see him take the title. He has a very tough draw this year.

Djoker > Nadal in the Final. I just hope Novak doesn't change tactics too much with Becker's influence now. He has been on a tear since the US Open and has the upper hand once again with Nadal.

Serena will win if she doesn't falter before the Semi's. Vika will be her only real threat if they meet in the final.

I was THIS close to picking Kvitova to reach the Finals! Phew!

I think Venus should stick to doubles and mixed doubles going forward.

There we go, someone else who likes Jelena. Haha but I highly doubt she will win. Most likely Serena will win on the women's side as long as she plays her normal tennis. Men's is tough because of how close the top guys are in skill. I'm hoping for another Nadal and Djokovic 6 hour final!

So, Serena is out. A shocker, but not really. She looked pretty lethargic in her first round match so something told me she was amiss. But, all credit to her in her post-match interview, giving all credit to Ana.

Now the women's draw looks like it's Azarenka's to take. Sharapova is looking a bit weary already so she needs a couple of more months to get back on track. Would LOVE to see Sloane take Vika in straight sets because of the crap Vika pulled last year.

For the men, it looks like Novak and Rafa are headed for the final. Sentimentally, would love to see Federer.

So nice to see Serena out…Vika is a solid favourite now, and then Li Na and Ana Ivanovic (not sure what order to put them in) are the next in line based on current play. Sharapova is not playing well enough to beat them as it stands.

Also rooting for Fed here but highly unlikely. Nole and Rafa seem pretty straightforward for the finals.
