This is something I haven't seen too much except at my current gym. Guys working out with work boots and jeans. Looks like they just got off work at their construction job and stopped off to do some curls and presses. Just seems really hot and uncomfortable. Is this a new thing, or just here?

You don't see either of them often because the gym usually has rules against them. They tear up the equipment.

I have seen guys work out in cowboy boots and gym shorts before, but never work boots and jeans. I just assumed that the guys wearing boots and shorts had forgotten their gym shoes, as it isn't comfortable to work out in boots (in my experience; I've done it)

I see guys at my gym who come in wearing boots and jeans (myself included) but they/we change in the locker room. Most gyms have a rule against wearing denim while exercising.

This has been going on for months, maybe 3-4 different guys. Look like "biker daddies", if that is a thing, lol. No one seems to care.

But honestly, why should anyone care? I don't see how it would mess with the equipment or anything like someone else suggested. If their jeans are dirty and they are using benches, that could be a sanitation issue, but other than that I don't see the problem.

I don't really care, just wondering if it was some new trend.

You see it every once in a while, the working out in jeans things. I couldn't handle that discomfort.

Couldn't that cause knee injury tho, I mean working out in jeans? Jeans aren't that flexible.

It would be too uncomfortable for me. I mean yes..the look is sexy but shorts and sleeveless tops are the best workout attire.
