So, I've been going to the gym on and off for the past....... year. Don't look at me like that, I'm trying.
But anyway, I find that once I go a few times I start to lose my strength. Is that normal, or is it all just psychological because I'm getting lazy? I wait days between, but I still find that I can't lift as much as I could on day 1. Any advice? Thanks!

    How is that possible?
Possibilities are; you are not sleeping enough, taking proper rest, or eating enough calories.
I have experienced all the three cases. I can feel it when I haven't had good night sleep or a good meal.

Morphic is right about not getting enough rest and nourishing right. Also try changing the variables in your workout. Ex: lowering the weight, changing the tempo etc... On training days when I just feel really lazy I bust out some pre workout like creatine or coffee and blast some good "pump" music. Thats just my thing though.

Alright, cool, thanks for the replies. I think the rest probably has a lot to do with it. I don't sleep that great at night and it really puts a hindrance on my energy levels during the day.
Also, I should probably eat more...
