I'm new to nyc and I feel like I see most people once a month. Everyone's 'so busy'. I don't like it : -/

Crazy thing, I used to hang out with all my friends until 50 hit. Not so much anymore but still try to keep in touch.

Of the two best friends since high school, one passed away 3 yrs ago in accident, and the other is married, and has children. His wife seems to keep a tight leash on him, therefore I only see him about once a week for coffee. There are several neighbours who have gotten to be friends over the 12 years we've been living in the same homes. I often see my neighbours almost daily, albeit more often in the summer than in the winter.

I think friends are really important for me, I'm too social not to have friends in my life frequently and I can get lonely if I don't have contact with them for any time.

Problem with me though, and especially as I am travelling along the way, I am picking up lots of new friends and even with the addition of my old and existing friends back home I can barely think of anyone that I can call a true best friend and it kind of bugs me a bit.

I see my friends at least once a week.

I have like 11 friends that I consider my best friends. They aren't the same group of friends but I see them separately all quite regularly.

Usually at least once a week. Sometimes longer. Adulthood does that to you. icon_confused.gif

Come to the Island and I'll buy you lunch or... hell... a car if you like.
I see my friends practically every day but only because I go to the gym. It's not always quality time.

Depending which? and what kinda of friends...most are basically idiots...icon_rolleyes.gif

Colleague friends duh like every-donkey days,
Old time school friends Once a year.
others just friendly friends without benefits can be random.

Basically I don't waste time of a hangout unless it is necessary or somewhat beneficial...*yes I can be terrible.

Probably less than once a month. A lot of them have kids and their lives are pretty full.

I have a handful of friends that I see about every 2 weeks, sometimes more or less, but often. I cut their hair too, so I see them at work as well.

Once a week on Underwear Night at a small local pub, then probably another night there or elsewhere.

jmusmc85 saidOnce or twice a month I'll do sort of social outing with a group of friends. Hanging one on one with a friend happens more frequently. Though some days I have no problem just being alone...

I'd still like to her it from the guy himself, because I have this feeling that you might be joking.

But really. I'm not sure if the guy is trying to say that he changes his friends regularly, or that he has more then one set of friends he hangs out with (which I suppose everyone has).
