An Observation--There seems to be a big emphasis in the gay community especially, to be built a certain way. Let's say being masculine. This might have been brought up but I'm curious. Since this site is a workout tips site. Are the guys on here more attracted to smaller/slim build or someone with bigger. I understand the appreciation for more muscular types of people because most here understand the difficulty of getting the 'perfect body.'Sorry if this was brought up again. I just wasn't sure how to find out. I'm not trying to stir any drama/argument, I'm just curious. Thanks for the replies ahead of time.icon_smile.gificon_smile.gif

I would say I like certain body types but that doesn't decide who I pursue honestly I've only been with 2 muscular guys..both Asian..go figure..oh race is also just another preference

Browse through the profiles on this site. You'll see a variety of couples. Some are like each other, some are opposite, and some are in between.

There is no definitive answer to your question.

Do you guys think especially since most of the guys here workout, they are more inclined to be more attracted for muscular types since they take care of their bodies alot more and appreciate more or is it more innate and imbedded into our heads and we just like who we like?

I think it's more about the dedication aspect of staying fit more than the actual body type. I have always liked muscular men; when I was scrawny and had no muscle tone whatsoever, to now when I consider myself toned. I will still probably like muscular men when I can consider myself muscular.

I like very lean guys. Many others have said they like 'em beefy (shudder).
Everyone can find someone who appeals to him.

I have been with MANY muscular men and I consider myself lean more than anything. So yes, it is possible.

Though I think I'm more attracted to an athletic build these days than anything else.....icon_biggrin.gif

I understand that there are different types of people for everyone but I guess I was just curious specifically for this site. Are people who tend to workout more, more interested in people with the same build because they worked on their body so hard?? Haha, I don't know if that made sense but thanks for the links, I'm looking through them right now

That's a large component because another muscular guy would be more tolerant of the work that goes into being muscular than a non-muscular guy and not attempt to sabotage their efforts. (Any dieter here knows what I mean by "sabotage.") That being said, a lot of muscular guys started out as thin guys into muscle who figured out that becoming muscular took less work than cherry picking muscle guys into slim guys since muscle guys into slim guys are out there but there aren't enough for everybody.

kiwiLifter saidGuys are suppose to be strong. Just take a look at how a man's body reacts to strength training:

    tumblr_mswonjm9Ic1qj3ykmo1_250.jpg

These guys are solid without being freakish looking muscle marys with that ugly "ripped" look that all the loser underwear models go for.

    No stupid sunbed tan either.

These guys are club footy players - its all FUNCTIONAL muscle for leaping and sprinting and tackling. Men in their physical prime!

    The real deal! icon_cool.gif

This is what all young men should aspire to. And if they don't I'm not going to be too interested in seeing them in the nudy.

hm, I don't agree to the orange text. I feel like many young men these days should embrace what they have, and not give in to peer pressure or the media for self assurance.

    This.

I like myself and I honestly care less about what guys like or how they think I should look like .

I would take any of the hot guys in that picture before your skinny-stolen-pic-boring ass self.

Eagermuscle should be allowed to write some forum stickies concerning these...ah...recurring topics.
