I just received my best massage last night from a new therapist. I have been getting massages regularly about once a month for the past few years. I find them usually relaxing and stress relieving. I get the whole body massage. The masseuse last night paid more attention to my hands and feet than the other therapists. He spread my fingers apart and rubbed my palms with his thumb's fingernail. It was very soothing. I usually get my feet massaged but since they are not very sensitive it feels more like a short foot rub. The new guy last night spent a lot of time on them and ended the massage by kneading my soles with his knuckles. It hurt a little bit at the time, but my feet feel great right now. I have had a pleasant tingle on my soles for most of today which I have never experienced before. He mentioned that I should try a sports massage next time. He said that it would really help my range of motion. I feel so invigorated today. Has anyone had a massage like the one I described above? Has anyone had the sports massage and did it improve the way you performed at your sport? Thanks!
