The billion-dollar development at the center of ‘Bridgegate’

    http://www.msnbc.com/steve-kornacki/the-bridgegate-theory-you-havent-heard

It looks like the real reason for Christie's guys to pull this stunt was to send a mafia style message to the developers of this mega project.

As they say about politics and motives, 'Follow The Money.'

That's a pretty compelling theory, but so is Rachel Maddow's. I'm sure one of them is the correct one but I can't tell which at this point.

That's a real possibility. Whatever the real reasoning, Christie ordered anything that was done, I don't buy that staffers just took upon themselves.

Are you talking about the IRS or the bridge closing?

No, we're not changing the subject, this is about Christie and his actions.

... of which there were none.

Oh, how you wish there were none.

I think you're going to be very disappointed in the coming weeks. There are no fewer than three investigations now underway. This is going to go on for a loooong time yet.

Christie`s starting to look like a problem, even for the Republicans.

Exactly. With non-stop, wall-to-wall coverage by the lib media, of course he will look like a "problem" for the Republicans. No matter who is the Republican nominee 2 1/2 years from now will be portrayed by ABC / NBC / MSNBC / CBS / CNN as "a problem" for the Republicans.

I think it may not get that far. I'm smelling impeachment.

    I really don't care.

Then why did you even post in this thread?

Posting in this thread does not = "Christy supporter"

Considering that you can't even spell his name correctly, I'm sure you're not a supporter, but obviously you cared enough to post in this thread.

    This confused me

"ordered anything that was done, I don't buy that staffers just took upon themselves."

I didn't know who you were talking about for a minute .... Christie or Obama.

Darn auto-correct! But yeah, I cared enough to comment. Big difference between commenting on a topic about ChristIE (had to do that to get around auto-correct) and being a supporter of him. ;-)

But, this thread wasn't about the IRS or Obama, so what is your point? That dead, trivial IRS "scandal" that went nowhere is just that, dead and trivial.

    And still going.

I have a sneakin hunch that if we were talking about a emerging democrat scandal of some sort you wouldn't hesitate a second to bring up an alleged Christie scandal, would you, regardless of the tread title?

The 'staffer' excuse is well used by both sides when convenient .
