I'm in love. It goes so well with everything: fruit, nuts, oats, chocolate. Or just plain.

Greece should pay off all of their defaulted government debt using yoghurt.

Where's that link about all of the environmental damage being done by the yogurt whey that's a byproduct of greek yogurt?

Hated it at fist, but I had to eat it after a 10 day water fast.. then started to kind of like it, mainly with celery which I love

But Really.. To those reading this.. it is by no means as good as everyone says it is.. if you haven't had it before, please don't be fooled

God, I've been having it for years icon_razz.gif Not by itself though. When you make any kind of Indian curry, just get it on. Best thing ever! icon_biggrin.gif

    Especially Butter Chicken. *drools*

    Watery? icon_eek.gif
I don't think you are speaking of Greek yogurt here... it is notoriously not watery!

Yeah, you're on the wrong track here, lol. The Greek stuff is the stuff that's thicker than sour cream, lol...it's like room-temperature ice cream, lol. It usually has at least double the protein, often a bit more fat, but certainly less 'water'. icon_wink.gif

No I am.. I ate Fague or whatever its called.. I mean.. it lacked in the flavor department..

Yeah, with Greek yogurt I've had to try quite a different to find something to my liking (as opposed to regular yogurt brands which pretty much all taste the same based on fat/sugar levels). If I had based my opinion on the first brand I tried, I wouldn't have had an orgasm eating one earlier today!

It's easy to make yourself if you have the equipment. I used a reusable coffee filter that just happens to fit a yogurt container. It's kind of more work than it's worth (sort of in the same league as making your own noodles or bread).

Also the idea of putting Yogurt on my meat still kind of creeps me out.. I wanna say ew but I haven't tried it before.

I feel it would taste better if something savory was added to it to make it a nice dip first.. but I have no idea what to try with it... Syrup is DEF not savory Very Sweet

I put a huge glob of it in my smoothie every morning. I never allow myself to get the flavored kind though because the sugar content is almost 3 times that of the plain! If you're eating flavored greek yogurt because you think it's good for you, think again.

Bumping this thread to just let all of you know that the Greek Yogurt + Maple Syrup combination is the best thing that happened to this world since the invention of the internet.

Okay, maybe I'm being dramatic but it's delicious!
