Someone had posted something about a guy having too many animals
and this reminded me that most people fall into two categories

    Dog and Cat people

I am def a Dog man
Don't get me wrong a cute kitten is fine
    but a cat? {Yawn} *
Also, and it maybe the luck of the draw but I think there's more to it than that
I have never been with a guy who was into cats
I think there is a difference in personalities ... what do you guys think?

Definitely a dog lover, though cats can be nice. Here's a picture of our little beagle baby. icon_smile.gif

I was about to adopt a Beagle and then I researched how they might not be the best city dogs to have.

I'm not in the process of getting a little Terrier/Chihuahua Mix :-). I like bigger dogs but for where I am in my life, this works out perfectly.

Oh, in case this wasn't clear, I'm a HUGE dog person (and quite allergic to the feline ones).

Bill's the doggier of the two of us, and I'd be the cat-man. Over time we've both come to love felines and canines equally.

Dog. I've recently enclosed my back yard with a privacy fence and I'm really anxious to get my first one (well, not shared with my ex).

100% Dog man! I'm allergic to cats so that doesn't help the cat cause.

Definitely a cat guy. I'm thinking of getting one when I get back from Christmas.

    I am a CAT man!

You don't have to walk them and they still love you (sometimes).

Plus, unless you have a big yard or park nearby (I live in Chicago) I think its cruel to have a dog....

If I got a dog, I'd get something small, but still butch- like a beagle...

I love both, seriously. I love dogs for their loyalty, love, and enthusiasm. They make great companions. I love cats because they're endlessly amusing and affectionate in their own way.

I'd love to have a dog. If I had a place with some land and not such a busy schedule, I'd love to have a golden retriever. But for the sake of convenience, I have a cat.

LOL, that's funny, but I can definitely understand that. When you're dating someone, it's not just them you break up with. Most times, you're also breaking it off with their kids, friends, and pets.

I put off breaking up with someone several years ago because I really clicked with a couple of his friends. I was afraid once we broke up, those connections would also end. Fortunately I was wrong. He moved away about a year after we broke up and I'm still good friends with the friends I met through him.

Terribly allergic to cats. Can't stand them. Cute to look at in online pictures, don't want them anywhere near me.

Loooove me some dogs. Gimme a cute mini schnauzer and I can curl up with it all day.

Why have a dumb dog or a kept cat when you can have a Tiger?
