protein and cardio question

    i drink protein shake before and after my workouts but on days when i'm doing just cardio should i be drinking my shakes or should i only drink on aneorobic workouts?

    no, dont need protein shakes for cardio.


    depends who you talk to, if you ask this question on BBing.com, everyone one on there will tell you you need at least 2g of protein/pound of BW, which is way in excess.

    On days you are not lifting weights, your body is recovering from the days you did lift weights. During recovery, your body still needs protein. Cardio or not.
