    Ok.

So I had trained for awhile with a friend who was super anal about gym etiquette. He always fussed when guys had their plates facing weight amount out instead of in, didn't clean up after themselves (somewhat understandable), and had what he decided was terrible form.

What about you guys? Do you have any particular pet peeves at the gym? The only thing I cant stand is if someone leaves a puddle of sweat on the bench... gross.icon_redface.gif

This thread has been soooo done before. Search on "gym etiquette" and see just how beaten this dead horse truly is.

Plates can't face outwards? He sounds like Hyacinth Bucket.

Eh. Guess I can't be original even with personal experiences anymore. I should give up on social media. I wasn't looking for advice on gym etiquette by the way. Just looking to see if anyone else had any particular nuisances (besides overdone posts).

    The usual..

    - People that don't re-rack their weights.

    - Assholes that do "cross-fit" exercises in the middle of the gym floor, and slam barbells with non-bumper plates.

    - Idiots that do shrugs in front of the weight rack.

    - Idiots that use the squat rack for exercises other than squats during peak hours.

    - People that smell like a cat died in their arm pits.

    - Bros that bring their water jugs and leave them on the gym floor after they're done with their workouts.
