I'm usually to myself at the gym, don't speak to many people( I only say hi to friends but don't hang around them ) all of the sudden it seems like guys are going out of their way to say hi, introduce themselves, and even ask to work out with me..I been going here 2 years and never has this happened

You may have physically turned the corner. Meaning, suddenly, you looked jacked. This exact same thing happened to me about a year ago during my first clean 15 lb bulk when I suddenly blew up staying lean. Right then attractive, muscular and probably straight boys in their twenties began engaging me when before no one ever said a word to me. It'd be nice if it meant that they want to get in our pants but I think it's more about being accepted into their club. Possibly an aspect of gym/muscle culture.

    This is true.
We're all body snobs at the gym.
Changes in how I look, good or bad, have immediate effects on my "popularity."

I went up to a guy at the gym yesterday who I've been wanting to meet. He shaved his beard and I didn't realize how handsome he was. I said as I passed him, "I see you've shaved your beard."
He went right into, "Yeah - hi - how have you been - haven't seen you in a while - what are you working on - yaddy yaddy yadda..."
I was thinking, "Doesn't this guy know I'm a complete stranger?"
We were instant bestfiends but although he seemed very gay in his enthusiam, he spoke about women a lot.
    Go figure.
