What do you think about this technique:

Earlier today, this guy maybe around my age came in and sat right next to me in the steamroom. Everything on my gaydar was pinging him...Body language, fact that he spoke to me first, etc. We talked about when we're normally at the gym, what area of town we lived in, etc. He also mentioned he seen me about a year or 2 ago. I know I did meet someone at that gym before who I had chatted with, but I don't think it lead to exchanging info which is why I was hesitant about it. But amidst all the steam and nearly about to pass out from the temperature...I had to get out of there. We only got each other's names and shook hands a couple times,

I could have gotten his number, but I just didn't feel the time/setting was right. I mean, he even knew I had my phone with me cause it was in my lap and he was asking me about my phone, joking if would still work after I got out, etc. I just don't know if he would have been 1 of those hookup only in the steamroom types, or if it would have actually gone outside the gym.

Thoughts, suggestions, solutions? I'm generally the type that if I meet someone at the gym like that, or class...unless it's a REALLY engrossing conversation, I usually like to run into them a couple times before suggesting exchanging info so it's not too forward.
