Has anybody tried or currently uses shoe lifts, insoles or elevator boots to make you taller? Looking for something when I go out, just was wondering from those who might have tried them.

I don't use insoles, because the shoes I usually wear are converse, and those are the flattest things you can wear haha. Though I do notice when i'm at the gym when I wear my shocks I'm able to match some of guys in my gym. Those few inches do make a difference.

I passed a guy on the sidewalk a couple of days ago, who was maybe 5'0". And he was sporting 2" platform shoes. I didn't see the point. Unless maybe he needed them to drive or something. It seems like someone that size (or any size) just needs to own their height.

Nope, I don't hide my 5 foot 7 in any way. I wear the same sk8 sneakers many guys wear, with no artifical height augmentation at all.
