    I'm a fan of pre-workout drinks, I'm up at 6am and train at 645 before work at 9.... I've tried a few NoExplode being the favourite , however I've now got a new one , mix 1x 1000mg vit C tab with 2scoops of Jack3D , absolutely amazing ! What a kick !

Anyone else a fan of these types of drinks ?

Ya, sure. I love the energy. I've done the Jack3D but not in combination with the vit C. I may try that. I use AdreNOlyn which has two formulations, one with and one without creatine. Cut and Bulk. Great energy.

I usually use a pre-workout, mainly for the pump. My favorite is Dark Rage. Its very intense.

I liked the old (banned) version of Jack3d but the new version doesn't seem to do much at all. I switched to C4 but that left me the same way I felt when I stuck my tongue on an electric fence at a horse farm. (Oh, to be in my twenties' again, icon_rolleyes.gif )

I'm just starting Mr. Hyde based on a recommend from a reasonably honest-looking store clerk (Shout out to Carl!). In a week or two I'll update my response for that product.

Original Jack3d was the best! I stockpiled some cases after it was discontinued. Don't know what I'll switch to once that runs out. icon_eek.gif

I'm about to cycle back onto C4... It was losing it's oomph, so I had tried a few others. I'm hoping it'll get me revved up like it used to when I start up again...

I just drink the redline drinks, they are pretty expensive per serving wise, but I got such a kick so I just save them for big muscle groups.

How do you guys deal with the crash afterwards? Do you get a crash? If I take these once I'm out of the gym I'm pretty much unconscious for 2-3 hours.

Try doing a protein drink immediately after your workout- one with both quick and longer lasting proteins. You should do that anyway for muscle recovery and growth.

Not too much into the pre workout drinks. For me, if i need a lil boost I down a cup of black coffee or tea. Just to get me moving a bit.

I had some good results with Muscle Pharms Assault flavors is pretty good. Side effects for me was a temporary tingle, and believe it or not my black skins turns red, again temporary, but the results are pretty good.

Also tried OP's Pre the other day, it was pretty good.

Most of those drinks should be avoided. They cause tachycardia, high blood pressure, dehydration, and nervousness.

There's a strong movement by the FDA to get them banned, and, for good reason.
