Okay, let's discuss last night's show...

What were some of the hits and misses of the show for you last night???

I have a few opinions of my own....some shady and some things that I just felt were wrong on soooo many levels...

First off, was it just me or did it seem like there weren't that many great nominees in the categories?

Also, with the exception of that God girl who sang at the beginning and Macklemore, every other performance afterwards was just....meh.

Now the Beyonce and Jay Z performance......They should've just went ahead and signed a deal with Hugh Hefner because that would've easily been like a prime time reality show on the Playboy Channel..I felt violated to the point that after they were done, I didn't know whether to keep on watching the show or to have a cigarette and call them up....

.....and there's something else that really boils my blood....

I mean realllllllly boils my sangre......

.....And it's about time we get real on this issue....

It's been going on for wayyyyyyyy too long and it's about time someone said something......

....People in the industry won't say it.....

    but I will.

When the HELL is someone gonna tell Stevie Wonder that all of his damn hair has fallen out? icon_mad.gif That is so foul on so many levels for his caretaker or whatever to let him come on TV looking like Amber Rose (who actually looked pretty good last night) and just sweeping it under the rug...They just need to give him a good shave and call it a night. His last few locks are hanging on to life, like Madonna was trying to hang onto relevancy last night....ugh...

Pharrell is talented (and HELLA good looking) but I honestly think that one of those robots would've given better speeches............and they rarely talk.

Taylor needs to swiftly work on her live performances because that was only close to acceptable....I'm not a musician, but I know a flat note when I hear it and let's just say that she was basically rolling on rims last night...I wanted to be in her corner....I really did....

The marriages towards the end were AMAZING! I almost caught myself crying......then Madonna came out.

Macklemore = Genius. He was on point last night and to be honest, I felt he was the highlight of the show.

I was also kind of upset that they didn't show or mention any other categories...you had to look up the winners online...

But overall it was a pretty cute show! ^_^

    Now what did YOU think?

There was a hell of a lot more pyrotechnics, flashing lights, and other frills than there was any display of singing talent.
    The children have taken over.

I was amazed she didn't read Alicia Keyes for getting John Lennon's name wrong. Ignoring that was so un-Yoko.

Yoko Ono on stage to represent John Lennon, noticed how the camera pan to her and Sean Lennon in the audience a couple time. There was like a Beatles's reunion yesterday with Paul McCartney and Ringo Starr performing. Yoko and John won Album of the year in 1982 for *Double Fantasy! I think she made peace with the 2 remaining Beatles members (so yeah like a peaceful gathering) !! Anyway, I though it was cute to have her there to present with Alicia Keys at the end. icon_cool.gif
