As someone in the generation of Lizzie Mcguire, Even Stevens, That's So Raven, etc... I think Good Luck Charlie is a worthy successor.

Cinderella featuring Brandy had a white king, a black queen, and a Filipino prince. icon_wink.gificon_rolleyes.gif

Awesome, more television sitcom nonsense where the man is an idiot and the female in the house only communicates by insulting her husband. What a great lesson for kids. Do people really watch this crap? That being said this is a huge step for Disney. Bring on the "Million Moms".

I'm pretty sure the demo for this show tapers off at about 12 years old. Don't think that crowd is very receptive to productions of Hamlet...

Obviously some of the societal implications of "the sitcom couple" could be damaging to kids, but in this clip I think the cavalier attitude towards the double moms couple is about as good as it gets: conveying to kids not that there is no "otherness" to gay people that needs to be questioned or comprehended. They simply exist just as anyone else does.

Yeah. I always laugh when people try to say their kids are being "indoctrinated" because there's gay people on television. icon_confused.gif
How does that make sense? They very likely have gay classmates in school and will encounter them at least semi-regularly in real life.

It's kind of like the punchline to this joke.
    "Yeah, gay people exist."
