I'm aware it is different for everyone and plenty have done it before apparently, but do you feel as if though this is a viable option for you?

The closest I have come to it working for me was with a guy who messaged me elsewhere 6 months ago.... He told me the sweetest things... made me feel like no other
Now he is giving me the ultimatum of sex or whatever we had is over...
I went back and read his older messages (all of which I starred and saved) and am fascinated by how we got from There to Waaaaaaaaaay Over Here

I think someone like me Needs and Thrives off of the Romance of not knowing someone, actual interactions and even possibly the mystery and taboo of "is he gay or not" but definitely the "is he interested or not". If a guy on a dating site messages you then of course he wants you.. the chance is at a 0 ...

    SO what do you think?

( Waitttt I just realized it has been 6 months of talking to this guy, am I being a tease... is it time to put out!? )

I don't see the point of romantically talking to someone online if you aren't going to reasonably be able to meet him within a few weeks.

    Yes, you can.

Key word: "find"--not maintain without meeting, chatter on and on in emails and texts for six months, etc. That stuff, I have no time for.

I've done it--the guy I'm currently dating, we met on Match.com.

So again, it does happen (and trust me, I'm one of the most cynical, it'll-never-happen-to-me guys out there).

I can honestly say, about the time you give up--you turn around, and....there he is.

But, it's all about the organic meeting, face-to-face, go-on-a-date, etc., behavior for me, and, my patience is pretty thin on guys who's way of life is behind a keyboard, and nothing else.

Dewer's neat, along with Wellbutrin, and the occasional Vicodin, doesn't hurt either.

    LOL.
