Yeah. I think there is a vocal crowd (a minority?).

In the real world, I would imagine that so long as you're clean*, a playmate wouldn't be hard to find. icon_wink.gif

*My grandfather used to tell me stories about doing business deals with Hasidic Jews with what he termed "tuna beards". They were models of upright and ethical business associates, but he had to steel himself for the hug.

Sounds like we need some affirmative action here. All gay men should be required to sleep with at least one hairy guy per year. It's only fair. On second thought, forget that, I don't want to increase my competition.

If you get the hair on your head cut (manscaped, if you prefer), why is it so bizarre to want to trim the hair on your body as well so that it's neat and groomed? And if some men shave their heads, why is it "unnatural" to shave the rest of themselves? I don't care whether a guy is hairy or not, but to characterize one as "natural" and the other one as somehow artificial is silly, unless you let the hair on your head and face grow wild and never cut it either.

Exactly. Think of your body as a garden. You're wanting a "natural" garden. But without a little trimming and clean up, a garden (or body) can become overgrown and unkempt looking. You love your hair, and that's fine, but why not keep things cleaned up and perform routine maintenance so your garden looks its best.

kevexboy saidWhat the hell is hair prejudice?

"hair prejudice" is when you come on RJ and there are numerous threads dedicated to men with hair on their bodies and the hundreds upon hundreds of gay men who prefer hairy men and then another one comes along as if thats not enough and complains as if all those threads dont exist .... hair prejudice. basically its imaginary or in other words an attention ploy

WTF site are you looking at because we clearly aren't on the same one....icon_rolleyes.gif

Hairy guys tend to do very well around here. Like any other guy, if you are hot then you are hot. Hairy or not.

Perhaps you just get the negative attention because you aren't very attractive OP??? Your face is meh, your kinda chubby, you have bitch tits, and you are balding. All that, and you seem like a whiner.....icon_lol.gif

I'm sure that most of the existing threads on hairy men are filled with pictures of hot hairy men - male models, fitness models, porn stars, bodybuilders, MUSCLE bears, etc. The prejudice to which the OP is speaking might be what's directed towards average hairy men - unmuscled men with hairy backs and shoulders. Perhaps the OP is thinking that given a choice between two average men - one hairy, one smooth - the "average man" (average and otherwise!) would go for the smooth one. Am I reading the OP correctly?

I think scruff and body hair is very well appreciated these days. There will always be those that want to be nice and trimmed but body hair is definitely here to stay. Plenty of guys including myself find it very attractive...
