the reason why i'm frikking mad is cuz I was hanging out with some friends and I just overheard this nasty conversation between two flaming gay guys and one of them was sharing quite loudly the details of his getting banged by a dude he picked up from somewhere!. images?q=tbn:ANd9GcQXYxeenDDcyXPWinyTYnA

If you think that heterosexual men (and women for that matter) don't also graphically describe sex to their friends, then I don't know what to tell you. Gay men are not unique in this regard. All you have to do is spend time at a university and listen in on random conversations...

Yeah, the big difference is that straight men objectify women and gay men objectify each other.

...and what always cracks me up on here is that it's only men.

They should really google up Cosmopolitan some time and look at some of the topics. I posted one up here today about straight girls into DP (double penetration). =O icon_lol.gificon_lol.gificon_lol.gificon_lol.gificon_lol.gif

Oh for sure there are different targets of objectification, and yes men tend to do it more than women, but the OP is mistaken in limiting judgment to gay men is all I was pointing out

A: stop generalizing. Our whole WORLD puts image over substance, why should we be any different.

B: What exactly do you mean by "substance" anyway? Be precise.

An RJ Primer of Homosexual Men, Bisexual Men, and Straight Men and Women:

Homosexuals : sex crazed nutjobs that are callous and superficial and incapable of relationships.

    Bisexuals: Homosexuals in denial.

Straight Men: sex crazed nutjobs who are better than gays because of something, something and something.

Straight women: look like sluts on the outside (see Fave Performers etc) but are Victorian Ladies on the inside.

I can't blame you. The very idea of two men having sex is bad enough, and actually talking about it is, well, ghastly!!

"Wrong"? But its like anything too oft seen; it quickly looses its charm and begins to annoy. Soon he'll be writing it "gig.s" or •},,{• or icon_lol.gif

The other thing is that straight men make up more than 90-95% of the male population. We're stuck with 5-10%, and looking at it big-picture, that's next to nothing. So yea, these kinds of irritating habits and quirks are a much bigger deal with you're stuck with 5-10% of the male population that you get to navigate friendships, relationships, sex, whatever other interactions, etc...when your selection base is this limited, it's very easy to make up your mind about 'all gay men' based on your interactions with some - because there's just not that many of us no matter where you go, in comparison to straight people. So our expectations on what kind of guy we're going to find...that's great to have high standards and find someone who's right for you, but I guess you got to put it in perspective because who would be nice to meet versus what's realistic when you've got next to nobody to choose from really comes into play in the gay world. Some do find what they're looking for; most of us do not. Unfortunately our expectations of each other are so unrealistic that we resent one another and I think that's why most gay men simply do not like other gay men. And at some point, a lot of us give up trying to even be friends with other gay men and drop out of 'the community' completely because you get tired of being lied to, or not meeting someone honest, or whatever negative thing it is.
