Kobe joined Jordon, Baylor and Chamberlain as the only NBA player to score over 50 points in 3 straight games when he poured in 60 vs. Grizzlies last night.

Good thing is the Lakers have won all 3 games and, after a 7-game losing streak, appear to have solidified a spot in the playoffs thanks to Kobe's Superman act.

People always debate "best ever", but this definitely puts him among the best ever. I'm not a Laker fan, but I've got tremendous respect for Kobe's talent.

He'll try for 4 in a row tonight vs. the Hornets.

Not a big NBA fan, but enjoy history in the making - I remember when Jordan was at his peak - unbelievable!

Regardless of the outcome, Kobe has amazing talent and is fun to watch.

But I'm hoping he can do it!

He definitely has not managed to capture the marketing side of his greatness. The Shaq fallout and the Colorado girl have tarnished his image.

Jordan was a master at image. Even now. He and his wife are divorcing and there's barely a mention of it in the press.

Kobe should sit down with MJ and get some pointers.

This is why I prefer college hoops over the NBA. Too much hot dogging
