To remain attractive among other gay men I mean lets be real and face it gay culture is pretty much looks and appearance orientated in that gay men are judged by how attractive you are

So seeing is that is the case how far would you go to maintain your beauty and appearance or of you deemed yourself to be unattractive would you go under the knife?

i never thought to hang on till i am too old to navigate the bath house steps. The husband option sounds attractive rather than get all cut up.

In all honesty I was actually thinking about going under the knife, but I don't know how my boyfriend would feel about that. I think everyone has insecurities no matter who you are.

But there are other ways to keep yourself quote on quote "beautiful" like eating right, exercising, moisturizing, and putting SPF on your face before you hit the sun, lots of sleep, and water, no drugs, ect, ect. I think your life style is a reflection of you.

I have serious bags under my eyes. I think they've developed recently since I'd never noticed them before. I was kind of shocked and bothered when I noticed them, but then was bothered that I was bothered about them. In other words, I'm 60; who gives a shit?

The larger question to me is, if you're worrying about looking young, at what point do you realize it's time to stop worrying about it? If you don't worry about it then the issue never arrises.

You can slap a Ferrari body on a Mazda MR2, but once you get in and drive it, you still got a Mazda MR2.

I don't see a problem with it in the abstract. I'd like to have a face-lift some day or tighten drooping eyelids or who knows what. But I'd rather have a great trip to Bali or throw a party for friends in Costa Rica or get a new boat. If I had unlimited funds, yes, I'd do it (assuming I could find a surgeon that I had confidence in). But I don't. so I won't.

There is no in between stage in the gay world ... you either are, or you aren't

I stay away from shallow people so I'm happy being myself and the way I look. If someone has a problem with the way I look then that's their problem and should get their eyes checked LOL.

I wouldn't be interested in anyone who thinks Im too old to date at 28 because its ridiculous, this issue with age and looks is a gay stereotype that makes me puke. And its full of gays like that, then they wonder why its so hard to be on long term relationships, this thing don't happen with girls.
