OK, here is a Jewish take on Oh, Holy Night, sung by a mother of a gay son. Enjoy:

I love to set funny new lyrics to songs, so this amuses me. And I appreciate some clever word choices here.

My partner, however, is less tolerant of this stuff. Just last week at our holiday gay choral concert at a church, we finished by going outside onto the front steps, where everyone sang traditional songs, chorus & congregation together.

A Jewish gay friend of ours, however, started substituting references to Hanukkah and other Jewish things for the words written in our song sheets. My partner turned around to him and barked for him to either sing the words provided or shut up. I'd never seen him so mad & agitated before, it even scared me.

So I wonder how many others would be offended by this video? I thought it inventive and funny.

    Really funny stuff!

I know several Jewish Moms that would love to sing that!
