    Hi Everyone,

I like to think that I'm a fairly attractive person. However, for the past year or so I have been told several times that I look like Jim Gaffigan. While I think that we share some of the same features such as hair/eye color I don't see all of the similarities. I was told this twice just last weekend at a party. The issues that I have with it are that I am 26, not 47. I like to think I keep my facial hair groomed, his seems to be out of control. While I think my hairline be thinning a bit I don't believe it is at the same extent as his. Regardless, my question isn't if I look like him... because apparently I do since I have been told countless times by co-workers or strangers. My question is, what makes me look like him and is there anything I can do to change it? I'm not interested in being food fed compliments. Tell me how it is.

    1) You are cute, so stop worrying.

    2) You look like a younger version of him. Maybe his son or nephew. He's not a bad looking guy either, so I don't think people meant it as an insult.

Well, from the pics, you're both blond, bearded, stocky Nordic-looking types. You could get a different haircut, or even dye it; shave; or change your body type with diet or exercise.

None of which will change who you are, so I would just accept that he is lucky enough to look like you and move on.

That's a good way to look at it.

Doesn't really answer my questions but I appreciate the response.
