I bought this damn pass in September thinking I'd be skiing all season and have only used it once...icon_neutral.gif

Now that the slopes are covered, I intend to take full advantage. Starting with President's Day weekend in South Lake Tahoe. Anyone else going to be around?

Also meeting a few friends in Park City at the end of the month. I've never explored the area at all so really looking forward to it!

It usually snows in both the Sierra Nevada and Cascade Mountains during the winter months. Nothing new here.

Post a suggested trip in the NorCal/SF RJ Meetup group? See if you get any takers?

Have you paid the slightest bit of attention to the weather, or even the news? 2013 was the driest year on record in California. The slopes, up until now, had pretty much no snow because we were in the one of worst droughts in our recorded history...

    Zing!

I went skiing at Mt. Rose this week and had a great time, though it's crazy that at 9,700 feet there can be patches where you can see the ground. In February. icon_eek.gif

Hey you desperately need rain in California. The golden state has unfortunately turned into the golden tinderbox. You guys need rain big time. The Baja Peninsula in Mexico is experiencing similar drought conditions.
