People need to work to get out of poverty so this doesn't help:

People in poverty need lower energy prices so burning food as fuel doesn't help:

The sooner Republicans are voted out of Congress, the sooner we can approve the jobs bill, accelerate infrastructure spending, and thus jumpstart this economy and improve economic conditions for everyone, rich and and poor and everyone in between.

Republicans have done nothing but obstruct and destroy, to keep the economy stagnated in order to try to make Obama look bad. The strategy failed miserably in the 2012 election but they never learn. Voters need to get rid of the regressive, conservative clown show in D.C.

If poor people would just get rich, this would be a non-issue.

Sad to see but it's true in many respects. This is how uprising begin, push the people down and eventually they will join forces to rebel.

There's always a need to review, restructure and refine the role of government in the lives of the people but when the restructure represses the already struggling people, you have to come up with a better solution. What is being done now, doesn't work.

We all know way too many people caught in the chasm of poverty without a ladder or even a rope to try and get out. Employment is only one aspect but even some who could be hired end up struggling with no transportation or child care or worse yet, not making enough to cover those expenses so they CAN work.

It's not working for Americans, it's just not working.

I think you are not really seeing what Obama and his administration are really wanting to do. They want the country to get so broke, so that they can start over. They don't really like the form of government we have, but they have to tear the country down, so that they can then reorganize and rebuild. Their long term goal is to have a one world government and one world religion in order to unite everyone.

You overlook the fact that Republicans have publicly declared as their own goals the very things you say against Democrats, in order to bring Obama and Democrats down, at any cost to the country at large. Typical Republican strategy: accuse your opponents of your own tactics that you're using yourself.

But nice try. It might have worked 6 years ago.

More people who I run into agree with this. Otherwise why would the Democrats be so indifferent to running up a huge debt and damaging the healthcare system and damaging the livelihood of younger generations? All they really care about is their goal which is why they don't care about things like the IRS and Benghazi. Their policies of been disastrous for poor people. Their band-aid fix for this is government handouts to make them more dependent all the while stoking class hatred and envy.

I think most people are really starting to see this. A core group on RJ however shares the same ideology and is brainwashed as to the effects.

Republicans are living in an alternate reality where they think people are actually buying into their disinformation campaigns. They'll continue to be shocked by election results until they figure out that they need to stop the scandalmongering, lies, and obstruction and put forth a positive, progressive vision for the future rather than the played out regressive rehash voters don't want.

Wow, this is biggest a re write ever. Obama gave 100 billion to the richest banks in the USA no strings attached . No republic could have ever gotten away with that. Obama care makes insurance companies and big Pharma a mandatory branch of government. Again no Republican could ever get away with that.

Because everyone who isn't a committed right-wing ideologue recognizes that "Benghazi!" and "IRS!" are completely fake scandals ginned up by a GOP that's desperate to find something, anything to smear Obama with. Most of us---and I don't mean on RJ, I mean in the real America---are laughing at your weird cabal of haters (aka The Tea Party, Inc., a wholly-owned subsidiary of Koch Enterprises, Inc.).

    Completely false. Take Banghazi:
Evidence reported by numerous outlets that:
    1. Requests for increased security ignored or not approved.
    2. Ignored or did not monitor requests for help from the victims during the attack.
    3. Knew from the outset that it had nothing to do with a video, but lied for political purposes. Most shameful was Obama and Hillary telling this lie to the next of kin in front of the caskets.

What you're suggesting is that the President wanted his own appointed ambassador killed and took steps to see to it that he had no protection.
This is a truly special kind of paranoia.
All it proves is that the right-wing has completely lost its humanity.

Stating facts not motives. You are stating absurd motives to attempt to diminish the facts. Fails.

I think most likely before and during is incompetence and unwillingness to accept that terror groups still existed and could organize an attack. The video lie afterwords was a cover-up. The attack was inconsistent with the administration's view that terrorism had been defeated, an election theme.

An obvious example of the left trying to cover up to hide a pathetically incompetent, weak, and dishonest administration.

Ambassador Stevens was asked not once, but twice if he needed extra military personnel by General Ham less than a month before the attack happened. Stevens declined both times.

The State Department failed to effectively protect their compound in Benghazi, but more importantly, Ambassador Stevens failed to protect himself and those under him. Is not the Republican party all about personal responsibility?

there's been a war on the middle class since Reagan and his "trickle down" bullshit, and Washington knows it. The healthcare and education sectors of the economy are a joke and abject failure. Washington can fix it, they don't want to.
