Heritage Foundation Isn't Following Nazis (Now)

"The Heritage Foundation, a religious right "think tank," and the libertarian Cato Institute, founded by one of the Koch brothers, were following the American Nazi Party on Twitter until yesterday. After users started spreading the word on the social media site, both groups unfollowed the hate group account."

The GOP hates gays. More and more of them are getting on the gay hate bandwagon, and they're being more outlandish in their condemnations, blaming us for climate change, since they believe the weather is God's puppetry, and He uses the wind to pick winners and losers. We let the GOP lead this country at our own peril.

A most reasoned and intelligent post. Great facts supporting your assertions and good to see you did not do what many do by generalizing and making wild statements. You are a model for what intelligent discussion should be about. Keep up the great work!

southbeach1500 saidAs gays, we certainly do NOT want to go back to that dark period in our history when we had to cower in our homes for fear we would be rounded up and sent to the camps by the Republicans who were in power during the Bush years. Those were 8 years that saw millions of gays "disappear" here in the USA during Republican rule.

Thankfully, many of them have since been located in Canada.

Please accept my kudos, topathlete, too!

And BTW, Heritage is about as "religious right" a think tank as Brookings is a Christian Fundamentalist one. Bandying about the Koch Bros. as some sort of imprimatur for intolerance borders on the internet convention of deeming an argument lost by whoever first uses the term "Nazi," which the lead post in this thread manages to do as well. In sum, an excellent example of how not to start a thread, let alone lead it even further astray.

Hogwash. Heritage may not be officially "Christian Right" but they are Right and they are completely affiliated with the Dominionist Christians.

Think you're better at Sarcasm than Humor. Leave the Humor teaching for the pros.

Wrong, not all republicans hate gays. It is only the FLAKY FUNDAMENTALISTS that hate us gay men and blame us for climate change. Stop accusing all republicans of homophobia and backwardness, it is only the right wing extremists making all the noise about us gay men. Your generalizations are flawed and worn out.

    True. Those are false generalizations.

At the same time, MOST Republicans & Teabaggers hate gays. It's in their official platforms. Do you dispute that? And don't Republican lawmakers vote in lockstep, as their party directs them?

Vote for one, you vote for them all. Well, I don't wanna give my vote to the anti-gay party. Do you?

"MOST Republicans & Teabaggers hate gays"

This could only be true if they spent any time with you.

You know Bobbi, frankly, you're a real piece of work. If you remember that a few days ago YN2K did a little advanced course on using Google Advanced Search? I've used this for quite a while. Doing a search of the realjock domain for your s/n name and your typical hate terms (teabagger, right wing, GOP, republican, etc.) gave me a result of "About 10,010 results (0.32 seconds)"

Sumthin the matter here Bobbi when you repeat the same thing twice expecting different results, let alone TEN THOUSAND TIMES !!! Wouldn't you agree?

Maybe they were checking to see if Gays still supported Nazi's. After all, most US liberal gays still support obama who has increased foreign aid to countries like Nigeria where gays are sentenced to death and executed by stoning.

This is a fact: the GAY Brown Shirt SA in Germany headed by Ernst Rolm brought Adolf Hitler to power in 1932.

Liberals, you forgot to rewrite some history as evidenced by your own liberal rag, Huffington Post:
