I'm there now (returning from a cruise). Wilton Manors is the major gay "hood." I enjoyed dinner at Rosie's and hanging for a bit at Alibi and Bills. Very friendly town.

Well, it is a requirement that one has an audience with this individual, a self proclaimed "gay mover and shaker" and "gay A+ lister."

I think you are referring to your friend! I would also recommend the Stranahan House for a nice hour diversion. Original early 1900s house preserved, one of the very first homesteads in FLL, and beautifully restored. Also update on the Las Olas condo proposed for the site of the New Hyde Market nearby which would have overtowered the historic house: http://articles.sun-sentinel.com/2012-06-07/news/fl-stranahan-house-lawsuit-20120607_1_coolidge-south-markets-equities-stranahan-house-frank-stranahan

If your staying close to Las Olas Blvd. you have the beach and the gay beach is right there. I stayed for a couple weeks and enjoyed it. Also, love running around Las Olas Blvd. lot of great looking guys, and you have close restaurants, and bars in the strip.

Bonnett House Museum and Gardens is right close between Birch Road and East Sunrise Blvd. that is good to go to one afternoon and stroll the historic house and gardens.

That I should be there and check it all out as well... I do need to get there and not wait for my broker/dealer convention.

I plan to be there mid January and hopefully thru April 1st.

My plan is to max out my exercise program. Daily running and biking. Work out 4-5 times a week. Eat healthy. Put my naked feet in the warm sand.
