After RTÈ's payout of a defamation settlement following a gay rights activists' speech on homophobia, Dr Martin said 'God never created anyone that he doesn't love'

There are some really positive things happening in Ireland right now. The "homophobes" and people against gay rights are looking stupider and stupider.

Here is one extraordinary speech that has come of the last few weeks. (if you haven´t seen it already icon_smile.gif)

A very similar development to the tea partiers and NARROW MINDED BIBLE THUMPING SCREWBALLS here in the US who have wrecked our once proud and viable GOP.

    'Stupider' isn't a word.

Not sure if intentional, or lacking grammatical proficiency.

Actually "stupid" is a special adjective and has two forms of comparison, stupider and more stupid. But hey you are missing the point of this post! icon_smile.gif

Colloquialisms that are not grammatically perfect can be used to make a point, for emphasis, to sound conversational, and to get attention. I do it myself all the time, along with deliberate nonstandard spellings. Including non-words like wanna, gonna, hafta, and so forth. And then of course there's the texting version of English.

As a sapiosexual, I find this to be sexy.
