The combination sounds ridiculous, doesn't it?
But this new series debuts next month and will really give us science lovers something to dig our teeth into.

that's odd it's FOX, i thought they were all intelligent designers over there, and hard science on the universe kinda blows that out of the water doesnt' it?

maybe they're gonna map heaven in this version. and not so much with the black holes.

I wonder how much the new series will be an exercise in how special effects have advanced since the original.

'Cosmos' may have had cutting edge effects but what made it stand out was its intellectual rigour and vision.

My guess is that it will showcase trailer-park ghost-whisperers and monster trucks smashing stuff. Just like the rest of Fox "science" channel programming.

well i can remember when A&E used to broadcast presidential biographies, and jane austen novels, and now they shovel out crap like hoarders, & duck dynasty.

every channel panders to the lowest common denomimator because that's who watches the most tv.

No, it's just that Fox bought all those channels.

    Or rather, yes.

I hate FOX with a passion like no other but the series seems cool!
