Micheal Sam Star defensive End for Missouri took a brave step and comes out. He is about to be Drafted in the NFL Do you think that hurt his chances of getting picked by a team why or why not? And do you think the NFL is tolerant enough to accept a openly gay player??

He'll get drafted. My guess by the Dallas Cowboys. Jerry Jones loves it when people are talking about them, and buying jerseys.

True they said the same thing about Tim Tebow in Denver, and New York and New England....it brought alot of postives but alot of negatives as well media frenzy. But its not just about jerseys its more about if the NFL is 100 percent behind openly gay players. Especially in the locker room rather then on the playing field. I think that was a brave step to come out like that but I might have waited but thats just me dont be ashamed of who you are but the NFL is a different ball game I feel like teams can not sign you because you are gay... Just saying I wish him the best of luck and hope he finds a starting job on a team that sees him for the player he is and judges him for his talent on the field and not because he is a gay man off the field.

I know Jeff Lurie of the Eagles would be behind it 1000%. Cant see Chip Kelly (being from NH and Oregon) with a problem either. If he fits into Eagles draft plans I dont think it would be a stopper.
