So I just started dating this guy. He is really awesome and we are having a great time together and, knock on wood, I think its going to turn into something really great. But, we literally started to date around Thanksgiving. Coming up on Christmas I definitely want to get him a little something, but not to go overboard. I want to make sure that he is in my thoughts!

I already know that I am going to get his puppy a little dog toy.

    Along with that....any suggestions??

Well, that's a tough one. All we know about him is that he's a guy...

Socks, a tie? What does the guy like, aside from his pup (and you, of course, heheh)?

Plan an evening you two can spend together. Go out and buy several small "usable" gifts. ie: Body wash, packs of his favorite gum, chap stick, a nice body lotion. Anything he would use on a daily basis. Wrap what you buy individually. You should end up with around 5-7 "usable" little gifts. Buy some nice wine (or personal suitable substitute) cuddle up by the fireplace, and let him open the gifts.

Results= A great romantic evening of gift giving. Plus everyday thereafter (as he uses the little gifts you gave) he will think of you. icon_biggrin.gif

Oh and don't forget.... give the money you save (since you wont spend very much at all) to someone that is in true need over the holidays.

    Happy Holidays! -G

How about dinner at a great, higher-end restaurant - and then if you know he is taking a destination trip somewhere soon - maybe something to go along with that (i.e.: ski gloves - if a ski trip).

But keep it simple, nothing too over the top but that a gift that fits and is understated.
    ...and congrats you lucky-bastard!
"your new guy", I mean he caught a hottie and a thoughtful one at that icon_wink.gif

Like everyone above me said, keep it simple but nice. Thoughtful for sure. Is there something that he really likes to do?

The best "new relationship" gift I got was from the man that I'm in a relation ship with now. We had only been dating about a month and he knows how I love to cook. So he bought me this amazing pan that he knew that I would love. They sold them where he was working so he got a great deal on it so I knew that he didn't spend the $300 to get it, but it was so thoughtful.

    1) Since music is such a big part of your life. How about taking him to a Jazz/R&B cafe/lounge for dinner. If he is into the same type of music as you are I am sure he would find that a great moment to spend time together.

    2) Since you love to cook....a nice dinner at home with your favorite romantic music on...I am sure you want to be very intimate with him and show him your feelings emotionally and physically....keep it simple...nice candlelight ...music...a good recipe you can cook up...and maybe a few candles for him to remind him of that special nite together ;)

    Have fun!

Nothing says "I think I really like you" like an ejaculating butt plug. Sorry, I couldn't find a good, blasphemous one.

Its christmas, buy him a sweet "our first christmas type thing"

wait if you just started dating him he might be freaked out by that.

Here is an idea, get him something he really likes, then get him something small but with a lot of meaning to it. Go buy a santa hat,red undies, and invite him over for some santa play.

Cook for him. If a man cooked just for me I'd be seeing hearts and cherubs.

Wait I forgot.... You said you are buying his dog a toy, okay see that's the little thing with meaning. Buying a gift for his pup is very sweet, shows that you know he cares for his pup and you are willing to be the other daddy lol

Here is something I got for a guys dogs, We talked for awhile online, and finally he was gonna come meet me and take me out. I thought it would be nice if I got his dogs something, sort of a win him over type thing. I even cut out pics of his dogs lol. Too bad he ended up being another fake, here is the pic.

    Photobucket

Maybe you should take a pic of his pup and put it on the gift like I did lol
