Ok, fess up, which goody two-shoes model citizens have already filed their US income taxes?

I was thinking that I still need some more statements but I was looking through them and have everything.

I'll be using TurboTax even though I don't need to itemize; I hate doing arithmetic, and my taxes.

Did mine early to get my refund. People usually wait until the end if they owe.

I filed my federal income taxes last week. I did it electronically, so the refund should come by the end of the month. I didn't do my Maryland taxes yet.

But I didn't use TurboTax, I used one of the free options the IRS links to.

I confess. I did my taxes weeks ago. Let's all not forget time value of money. The sooner you get it, the longer you have to invest it!

Done and sent. My stupid work gives me a secondary W2 which makes it impossible to e-file, so I have to mail and wait. Should have my refund by mid-March.

Filed and waiting. Why would any thinking person wait until the last minute?

Given the recent growth in our incomes, we filed early because we barely pay any taxes, and most of it gets refunded.

    Ah the American way.

My last company went bankrupt and the boss disappeared. We're trying to figure out what we're supposed to do to get the tax forms from him.
(And I'm trying to figure out why I have to tell the government what they already know.)

Filed mine this week. Actually getting a refund for the first time in years, otherwise I would have waited another month or so to file.

Filed my federal income tax and should get it soon since I chose direct deposit. The state is a different story because I usually owe them a little additional tax so I put that one off until late March.

xrichx saidI usually wait till the last minute.

I usually wait well beyond the last minute. I find tax returns so excruciating to prepare that I file for an extension almost every year.

Why put off until tomorrow what you can put off until next Tuesday?
