Foods to Increase Sex Drive

    Today I decided to research the topic of "What foods are best to boost libido", as well as what other practical steps you can take to boost libido. I don't have problems with my sex drive, but at the same time who doesn't want to maximise horniness and enjoyment?

    I read through a LOT of information and I want to summarize and share the top 5 points which I have learnt.

    In summary, they are:

    1. There are no miracle foods that will give you a huge boost to libido. This is obvious, because otherwise everyone would be eating those specific foods like crazy. There are also hundreds of recommended foods which nutritionists mention are good for libido and overall sexual health, and there is no clear consensus on these, and trying to remember them all will drive you insane. Follow the advice in point 2 below and you will be fine.

    2. There are many foods that help you if you have deficiencies in certain specific vitamins and minerals (such as zinc and selenium) which are important for sexual health. However if you eat a balanced diet you will not be deficient in those nutrients. If you are eating a balanced diet which includes in it a variety of fruits and vegetables (including green leafy vegetables and avocadoes) and nuts, you will not be deficient. If you are not sure, take a daily multi-vitamin tablet and see if you notice any difference after 1 month. Or go and get a medical test to see if you suffer a deficiency in anything.

    3. WATERMELONS (or if you prefer watermelon juice) seem to be the only fruit which is high in nitric oxide, which has the benefit of assisting blood flow. This in turn means better and harder erections. This makes sense, since many bodybuilders take nitric oxide as a supplement to help with their pumps, and if you read bodybuilding forums you will notice that a side effect of this is feeling extra horny in many people.

    4. Taking testosterone tablets is not a good idea. Although it might give you an initial boost, you risk your body becoming dependent on it and your natural testosterone production capability may be shut down. Don't mess with your hormones unless you have clear medical advice that you are deficient. Taking Nitric Oxide supplements, on the other hand, may help you feel extra horniness. As noted above, bodybuilders take this supplement to experience an extra pump, and some have noticed that it causes them to feel extra horny.

    5. Going to the gym (especially if the workout involves lifting weights) does make many people more horny. I always notice the difference. I am not sure why this is. Is it due to the extra growth hormones released, the extra testosterone or the general increase in metabolism, or something else.
