Uhre’s family and friends spent weeks circulating fliers and canvassing areas across South Florida.

I actually witnessed this. I was in Wilton Manors, a town adjacent to Fort Lauderdale, when about 6 of his friends were going up our main street a few days ago, inquiring about him. We couldn't help them, we never saw him here.

But it was so heartbreaking, seeing his friends all the way down here, asking everyone if they had seen him. And just today we heard this tragic story, before I read it online.

But yah know, this gay guy, whoever he was, had such loving friends, who made this attempt for him, as far away as down here. I can only hope that any of us, if something happens, will have such support from our family & friends. This was a young gay man who was very much loved, by very many people. icon_cry.gif

Having seen the way the TPD handled the rape case of the star quarterback at Half-ass-U, I feel this young man will never find justice. That town is a cesspool of corruption (what else would you expect from a state capital) and this will be swept under their dirty rugs just like all the other crap that happens there. I pray for his family and friends.
