The Arizona Legislature passed a measure on Thursday that allows business owners asserting their religious beliefs to refuse service to gays and others, drawing backlash from Democrats who called the proposal “state-sanctioned discrimination” and an embarrassment.

The 33-to-27 vote by the House sent the legislation to Gov. Jan Brewer, a Republican.

Brewer got on board with Obamacare, so I kinda have hopes that she'll veto it.

    Great job Arizona.

Now that gays can legally be discriminated against, how about you target African-Americans, Latinos, Asians, and Native Americans? After all, discrimination against African-Americans was based partly on the religious beliefs of Southern Whites.

Aren't they already xenophobic as hell in Arizona? I figure homophobia and racism are par for the course.
