When trying to go out with somebody, how important is their profession in your mind? To me I don't care if he is blue collar making ends meat or a white collar employee with money to spare. Jobs don't define who somebody is.

As long as end do meet I don't care how they get met. That's too much to be worried about so soon anyway.

Agree with the points above but I especially like someone when they're in a position of management or a copper etc because it's a bit of a turn on lol.

A job is important, unless a student, as it's independence. What kind of job doesn't really matter. icon_wink.gif

    KApparition saidmaking ends meat

I like the way you put things.

As long as someone has a passion a job isn't important. In my world, anyway.

the "gay world" is just the regular world, so I imagine like most people who live within society... having a job is important to us.

So, I wouldn't necessarily care how glamorous or important his job was, rather i'd care that he just had a job. A job that he could support himself with. That's really it.

"Jobs don't define who somebody is." ???

    In general? I guess.
But really, you wouldn't have any problem with: Police Officer, 1st Year Doctor, Go-Go dancer/porn actor, Marine in Afghanistan, or any job where the man feels he has to stay deep in the closet?

Oh; how about professional Body Builder--tell me that it doesn't define him.

I don't know how many times I've heard a guy say: "Don't know how you do that shit" or "No way in hell I'd do that". I'm sure they would have made great Boyfriends.

Well, Job set a good example for all of us. I think I'd rather meet Samson though.

I dated broke college students in the past to a lawyer, one social worker, guys in retail and one doctor. They are all different. I mean as long as he's doing what he likes so what, I'm in the education/teaching field, the last 2 guys I hung out with, 1 in medicine, 1 nurse. I'd say it's kinda important what you do for a living but it's not a total deal breaker for me if you're broke unless you're just a lazy dude.
