The antonym for "liberal hen", another equally inane term that's meant to be insulting to someone on the other end of the political spectrum. Only idiots use either one of those terms in a serious manner. If you see someone use either term, they're not to be trusted.

Conservaposse is a word we made up a long time ago. Contrary to the poster above, it was not considered insulting, merely descriptive of the tight-knit group of RJ right-wingers who are all friendly with one another and have been assumed to coordinate their messages with one another (see "treehouse" and "bunker", etc.)

It was bestowed on us as an insult a few years ago by a many times banned poster who went by either balancing or presentmind at the time. However, we loved the named and adopted it as our own and it's been used ever since. We even call our two secret meeting, scheming, and hiding places, the Conservaposse Treehouse and Conservaposse Bunker. It's a really fun place with our own micro brewery, grow lights and a garden full of magic mushrooms.

Since it collectivises a certain group of people together as one thing based on the personal opinion of one person's view, I would say it meant as derogatory.

As soon as people lump a group of people together in one form, we have a problem.

There are other terms like 'conservaposse' that are just as dumb, but as I said, collectivisation leads to the casting of all of the words of a group of people as only one thing.

That wasn't said quite as eloquently as I could, but there it is icon_razz.gif

A little. I'd rather be in a posse than be a hen.... I always associate it with CJAZ because he would joke about setting up meetings in the tree house. I never realized it wasn't PC.

Don't forget the T-shirt one of your members designed a few years ago. Back when RJ had its former logo.

If anything, the conservaposse has successfully undermined the left by drawing Yourname, Sharkira and possibly even RobBikeRob over to the dark side.icon_eek.gif

You mean civility? I assure you my political opinions haven't changed one iota, nor my opinion of theirs. By gosh darn it, I can't help liking some of the posse members personally. (SB, FIF, CJAZ).

In fact the only thing conservative about us is that NASCAR era distillery that we have. So good that it would make Jack and Johnny pround. Now true .... its in the bunker instead of the teahouse cuz all those nasty revenuers be chasin after us and that famous Junior Johnson brew.

Younger generations that state they're republicans for economic reasons live in a silly world where they expect to win the lotto and then hopefully buy a candidate that will offer them tax breaks.

Bush didn't want to tax the billionaires or multi-millionaires to fund the war he wanted to tax hard working Americans this includes doctors, lawyers, and other high paying jobs. God forbid he tax people that help fund his campaign or hold any type of power. For what it's worth I thought he was admirable for not wanting to campaign via bringing down other candidates, although he caved in. He may have some admirable attributes and he represents a republican perfectly; they can have nice and good values, but are ultimately not in touch with reality. I think I prefer him over Ronald Reagan though.

From what I understand Bush wasn't even considered an extreme republican, although he would've done anything to progress their cause. He was made to look like an idiot for defending Nixon by his own party.

What I will state is Bush in his younger years was very attractive. More attractive than JFK and possibly even JFK Jr. (who was a hunk) R.I.P. to both. I also loved Robert Kennedy (RIP) he really wanted to help equality among races -- I'd say more so than even Abraham Lincoln. I'd go as far to say Robert Kennedy deserves his own "Martin Luther King Day".

The only thing I didn't care for was how the Kennedy's treated women in particular Marilyn Monroe and I'm not even a Monroe fan, I prefer Audrey.
