Randomized sociological surveys (as opposed to unreliable crime data) repatedly shows women initiate DV as often as men. A recent 32-nation study by the University of New Hampshire, which included Australia, found women are as violent and controlling as men in relationships worldwide. http://www.unh.edu/news/cj_nr/2006/may/em_060519male.cfm?type=n

In fact over 200 studies and growing confirm that "women are as physically aggressive, or more aggressive, than men in their relationships with their spouses or male partners," as Cal State University Professor Martin Fiebert shows in his online bibliography at http://www.csulb.edu/~mfiebert/assault.htm
In the U.S., a major study funded by the Centers for Disease Control examined heterosexual relationships throughout the U.S. and found: "Almost 24% of all relationships had some violence, and half (49.7%) of those were reciprocally violent. In nonreciprocally violent relationships, women were the perpetrators in more than 70% of the cases." http://www.ajph.org/cgi/content/abstract/97/5/941

Frankly sine these abused men won't get help they should take the law into their own hands. Make sure she stops BREATHING.

Many feminists agree that women are just a guilty and wrong to hit a man just as much as if a man hits her. Personally, I never touch my female friends, and they know not to touch me (I mean even in a friendly way).

Because that woman might be your mother, your sister, your daughter, your friend or anyone. Its called empathy, and yeah women are physically weaker then men so we must defend them. As simple as that.

I've noticed that every Lifetime movie about domestic violence starts with a man and a woman dating very nicely and then after they marry the man turns on her and gets psycho.
On the other hand, my real life experiences are that all the signs are right there before they get married but the woman marries him anyway thinking she can change him.
Of course it's still wrong to hit anybody but women have gotta stop crying victim.

I don't know if I should say you're just a dumb fuck because you you have to ask the question, explain to you whether it's a chick or dude getting beaten its wrong or let you try to figure it out yourself... Which you won't be able to do because you're a dumb fuck

I don't know, little things called humanity and common decency are reasons why you should care.

I concur. But you know, this troll thinks like a lot of gay men. For some reason, many gay men out there are misogynists. Probably because they're jealous of them...who knows. I never understood why...I love women.

Most of my female friends see straight men to be mostly objectifying and misogynistic. That being said, there are a lot of homophobic omen as well, so best to try and judge each person rather than the gender since that means nothing. Can you give me an example of misogynistic gay men? I am curious now. PS I personally am as indifferent to women as I am to straight men.

    Or here's a better idea...not judge at all. icon_razz.gif

We all judge a person in all shapes and forms...when you even befriend a person, you judge them, on actions etc.

kiwiLifter saidThe OP is right about the stats on domestic violence.

The feminist/lesbianist propaganda has brainwashed most people into thinking men are violent sexual predators who are always the guilty ones and can not be trusted around women or children.

Same with the "25% of women are raped" BS. Feminist are just as happy to fake and twist stats as religious fundamentalists to suit their political agenda.

Too bad so many gays feel that they have to "play along to get along" with the man haters.

Loser #1 is now a misogynist as well. You must have a sad life.
