Was expecting more. What happened to the rumoured 2560x1440 screen and the metal case? Processor and camera are nice though.

After the S4 came out, I expected the S5 to be also mehhh. I'm a little disappointed that the phone is bigger and slightly thicker. But I guess I shouldn't be surprised, since it has additional sensors. I'm not sure how useful a heart rate sensor will be. But I guess it's cool for those that need it. And that metal edge and faux leather back looks bad. But I guess that doesn't matter since most people slap on a case.

I'll wait until the reviews come out. I'm curious about camera performance. No one has confirmed whether or not the S5 has the new ISOCELL camera sensor. If not, then I'll probably pass. Might get a Sony Xperia instead.

Also, I must say that the Galaxy Gear Fit is the nicest looking smart watch I've seen so far. I don't have any use for it, but it's cool Samsung is offering different watches for different needs.

I only got my S4 last summer, and it's another 15 months before I qualify for an upgrade, so the S5 isn't even relevant to my existence. But, having seen the reviews, I'd rather have the S4 than the S5. I chomped at the bit to upgrade from the S2 to the S4 because because of 4G having become available, but now my cellphone situation is perfect, and I won't need to upgrade until it breaks or something seriously more desirable comes out.

S5 has nice specifications , its 2.5 Ghz processor is said to be a killer ,
its similar to Htc one in looks ,
stolen the IP67 water & dust resistant idea from the Sony Xperia Z

Battery is just 2800 mAh, I thought it would be 4000 mAh

4 LTE connectivity, as well as WiFi MIMO (802.11ac) , its a pioneer technology
