Two very good buddies of mine are tying the knot in Connecticut next Spring. They live in Maryland and neither of them have been to Connecticut and since that is one of the few places they can legally do this, they are going...

Any of you guys from Connecticut know of a nice spot or exceptional location to exchange vows?

    How much are they spending?
    Indoor/outdoor wedding?
    Traditional or unique wedding?

If your looking for more traditional, organized and catered weddings this website might help with narrowing down selections:

If they are looking for an old fashioned chapel wedding then try the UUSIS (Unitarian Universalist Society In Stamford) They are very accepting and close to the NY border for ease of travel to the location. They have another congregation in the woods further north in Manchester which might offer a more rural setting.

I'd also suggest Episcopalian churches but they are currently having an issue with a mini revolt against the acceptance of a gay clergy member.
