You should probably consult your physician about this.

The English word is "elbow" not elbo.

How do you know it's arthritis? A doctor's diagnosis, or your own? What kind of arthritis? Rheumatoid or osteo?

If a doctor diagnosed it, that same physician should give you a referral to a specialist. You will be told how to manage the arthritic pain, and what exercises you can do.

I also think you should consult your doctor.

I had to have an elbow replacement last year. For me, it's just using lighter weights with higher reps and not worrying about the looks from others.

If you're getting a bone spur or nodule just on the side of your elbows it'll hurt like hell while growing but then, at least with me, the pain goes away. While developing them, I could hardly pick up a glass of water. So not just pain but all the strength left my arms.

Now no problems with them at all. No pain, no strength issues. The initial pain lasted about 6 months or so. I think it was under a year. Visually, I can't see the bumps now when my arms are extended, just when I bend my elbows just so. No one notices unless I point them out, which, of course, I do. Look at what the fuck is happening to my body! What the fuck is this?

While it was happening to me, I was out with friends and one complained of the same thing. We compared elbows and our little bumps were in the very same place. So it must be fairly common.

Just something else to file under: Getting old sucks.

Oh well, that's life. Enjoy the rest of your deterioration.

I had this for a while when I was doing dips.
I gave up the dips and rested my elbows and it went away in about a month.
I recommend that you look carefully at what your doing at the gym that uses your elbows at such great pressure and cut that part out for a while to let them heal before you do some permanent damage.
So many guys at my gym, don't listen to their body till it's too late.

I've been through this with both my shoulders and knees.
Give them the rest they need and they're back in shape.
Also, try Triple Strength Osteo BiFlex for about a week.
They pain will lessen quite a bit.
Take one at night. Two in the morning after breakfast. Works wonders.
Ah, the joys of gym after 50...icon_cool.gif
