Atlantis Caribbean Cruise: will there actually be hot guys?

So I'm going on the March Caribbean cruise leaving from San Juan in a week and my bf and I have been told that the cruise will be a more 'mature' crowd and that we will be "one of the youngest on the cruise" (at 25 and 27). This kind of wasn't what I had envisioned for this cruise and now I'm a bit worried: I was looking to dance shirtless and drink all day surrounded by some young, hot guys and that doesn't seem to be what I'm being told I'm in for.

So yeah: will there be any younger (20s and 30s), hot guys on the cruise or is my week going to blow/not meet original expectations/leave me feeling out of place?

The guy who said this to my bf has been on a load of Atlantis cruises and said it was because the cruise was leaving from the more expensive Puerto Rico location...idk...I just want a nice mix...

The European cruises lean a little older (and a little more international). Their cheapest 4 day cruises out of LA attract a few more younger party boys. But there will still be a whole lot of guys your age (and younger) on your cruise. What surprised me was how many couples were there who were ready to play with others!

My bf and I aren't necessarily planning to act on anything (tho the option is there) but I would like some A+ eye candy and to feel comfortable being shirtless most of the time without feeling like I'm wearing a target of some sort. Your words give me hope (I've been pretty down on my vaca since hearing the guy say that we were gonna be far and away some of the youngest).

Go to cruisecritic.com. Then, go to the forum boards on this site and look for the link for gay and lesbian cruisers. In these forums, you can ask your questions and get feedback from other members who have been on various Atlantis itineraries. They'll give you tips on what to expect.

I tried cruisecritic but it looked like an exceptionally small LGBT community and there were very few recent posts by anyone discussing LGBT issues.

Well in that case, good luck trying to find someone on this site who can give you any testimonial info on gay cruises.

trust me that is gonna be a whole boat full of sin. There will be plenty of hotties, I've seen my friends photos after he's been on one. They will indeed all be shirtless.

    Lol, excellent question.

My mom told me about how her eighty-something year old friend sold off land in Delray Beach to give her nephew a couple million dollars to pursue his dream of opening a gay bed & breakfast in Costa Rica. Never benefitting a white from my own mom's largesse I naturally I just had to lurk its website and saw a swimming pool and patio brimming with naked men. Looking closer, I saw they were all photoshopped in.

    The b&b failed.

I would live in fear of like some mystery illness spreading about the boat. U know...like the norovirus cruise ships u hear about on the news.
You go on the cruise fine...then, u leave the boat with bags full of your own puke.

    I just couldn't imagine.

For fun I once worked as a check-in agent for the cruise lines in the Port of Miami and pitched in with passenger issues requiring a light touch. A woman disembarked smuggling hamburgers back to her parents who were being delayed in the terminal before boarding. I told her "Aside from romance and tidal waves what happens in every movie about a cruise ship? Plague." I was always a charmer.

I wonder why there hasn't been a made-for-Logo or here!-tv movie about a gay plague on a gay cruise ship. (That one with Rosie O'Donnell and a plague of lesbians doesn't count.)
