Bill O’Reilly: ‘Downside’ to A Woman President

Mr. O’Reilly suggested that as a woman, Mrs. Clinton would be tested by all of the evildoers in the world – which for him seem to include China, Russia and North Korea. He seemed to wonder if she’d be tough enough to pass those tests.

Mr. O’Reilly also argued that some of the really difficult political leaders in the world just wouldn’t deal with a woman.

“There haven’t been that many strong women leaders throughout history,” Mr. O’Reilly said, as if the reason for that is because women are not tough enough, rather than that men have kept them out of power. “But you know, when you’re president of the United States you have to deal with people like Putin…you have to deal with real ornery [people like the] Mullahs in Iran. Look, the Mullahs in Iran, they think women are like subspecies.”

She's already been the secretary of state, dealing with foreign leaders. Come to think of it, she comes off as having more backbone than John Kerry. It sounds like O'Reilly has a problem with women, probably because his salary is payed by a network that makes women look like bimbos. The women on Fox News must actually be Stepford Wives robots for even putting up with that kind of bullshit. Or maybe they've just built their own log cabin.icon_idea.gif

I assume he meant the Tea Party.

Sorry, but when Clinton passed off the deaths in Benghazi during that debacle, as "what difference does it make?" It just showed that she's all politics and posing just like Obama is.

I see Australia's Foreign Minister as the one with balls. Would Clinton say on camera to China that she took issue with their sanctimonious posturing?

Our Julie Bishop is fantastic. Love her icon_smile.gif

SouthBeach mentioned Margaret Thatcher. Clearly, you can be a tough leader and a woman to the embarrassment of Argentina.

She did no such thing, despite the lies your right-wing info sources told you. Read the transcript. She wasn't referring to people's deaths with that remark, she was answering some pointless nitpicking.

Don't be such a chump, really.

Well, you've certainly gotten better with the name calling business, so thankyou for that, but really, you political bias is palpable.

You pass off anything I say as informed from 'Right wing' lies, already asserting that you have no intention of listening or engaging, but shutting me down. You don't even know where I got my view from.

She was referring to the reason of their deaths, and if they were hers and Obama's fault, which I tend to believe is partially true due to their negligence and incompetence, then I think it does speak volumes about that woman. She would sooner dismiss ANY discussion about whether she was at fault, to just jump to another subject.

    I won't call you a name icon_smile.gif

EDIT: I've already addressed your point YourName. I haven't misrepresented anything.

Thankyou for posting the video, so people can see my point. It was her dismissing of any potential discussion about whether she was at fault.

If that's what you got out of that clip, than you have a serious comprehension problem. Anyone else looking at the clip will see that your "point" is disingenuous at best.

Well, we know you have a serious civility problem icon_razz.gif

I have no problem with a woman as President but it cannot be that hapless Hillary ho. We would have to change the name of 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue from the White House to the Whore House because Hillary being President means that her horrendously horny hubby and his endless entourage of hookers and bimbos will be occupying this sacred American place.

I don't think you're going to enjoy the years 2017-2024 much, then.

I would not jump to conclusions if I were you. Just because a sample poll of democrats like Hillary for President in 2016 does not guarantee her a victory in November 2016. It is too early to tell from this point. It is only early 2014. Anything can happen between now and than.

If Hilary runs, she will win, because her opposition is weak and Republicans have only won one presidential election out of 6 in 20 years of cycles (2000 doesn't really count, since that was a huge fraud).

I wouldn't be so sure of that if I were you. Hillary isn't all that popular among the mass majority of Americans. I wish you guys would get out of your Hillary2016 fantasyland. If she runs, she is not a shoo-in by any stretch of the imagination. You cannot go by past cycles because anything is possible especially in American politics.

Bob, Who among the GOP candidates has as a chance to beat Clinton? Looks like the GOP establishment prefers Jeb Bush but I think it is just about 32% of Republicans that picked him in the same poll.

I would much rather have Jeb Bush as president than that self aggrandizement seeking whore Hillary Clinton. You can't always go by what the polls say especially now because it is only March 2014. You guys don't realize that a lot can change between now and 2016 regardless what the polls say.

I think you're right, Bob, about being too early to tell. But the point is each candidate must obtain commitment of big money, probably now, since a presidential campaign takes about 1 billion dollars. In the poll, 80% of Democrats prefer Clinton, but only about 32% Republicans prefer Jeb Bush. This reveals enthusiasm so this means that the GOP is splintered again like the primaries in 2012 with 68% of Republicans preferring among a multitude of other candidates.

Have you seen the polls? She wins over every single Republican she's challenged against and on top of that, she has better approval than all of them. Just because you don't like her doesn't mean she will lose.

The polls are baseless bullshit because they only sample a tiny number of registered voters in both the democratic and republican parties. It is too early to determine what will happen in 2016. People change very quickly and when the campaigning begins that is when you will see who will most likely win in November 2016. Stop listening to these idiotic polls. Hillary does not deserve to be President of the US. She acts like she is entitled to winning elections. We don't need that type of personality in the White House.

Well, polls predicted the 2012 election pretty well. Hillary hasn't even declared what she is doing, so I hardly think she's acting entitled. The reason she is the front runner is because the Republicans are so awful.

The potential republicans are a major improvement over that hapless Hillary ho and her horrendously horny hubby. The US cannot afford four or even eight years of the Clintons in the White House again.
