I´ve been given some advice recently to cut out dairy from my diet and to switch to almond milk if I really wanted milk in my day to day diet. He said it will help in shredding away any unwanted fat on my body. I´m just wondering what the benefits are of not having dairy in your diet and if there are any negatives. Also I´ve read here that dairy can cause acne which I do suffer from occasionally. What are your thoughts? Thanks in advance for any advice. icon_smile.gif

Adults don't need milk. You can get calcium from other food sources, as well as from calcium + vitamin D pills. Were you thinking about cutting out all dairy? Because yogurt is a good healthy snack. And how can you have pizza without cheese? icon_biggrin.gif

Almond milk is ok. It has a similar taste/consistency as low fat milk. It's really good with cereal. But I can't say it's good to drink plain. Also, not very good with coffee/tea.
